Chinese tattooists in London

Hi!

I'm thinking I'm going to get a tattoo of a Chinese phrase.

I'd like to get:

既来之则安之

Are there any tattooists anyone knows in London, who specialise in calligraphy? I guess it's probably best to find a tattooist who is actually Chinese, or who specialises in calligraphy, to make sure the strokes look nice.

Cheers now,

Al

I'm thinking I'm going to get a tattoo of a Chinese phrase.

Don't :)

Your phrase is in simplified characters, you should for the sake of good calligraphy get it done in traditional characters.

Having failed at this first hurdle makes me concerned of your ability to discern a good tattoo artist and calligraphist.

What are you trying to say in English?

Why not have done in a language anyone you want to be able to read it, can.

I know chinese characters look good, but if other people don't know what it means it's a bit pointless.

Before you ink, think and think again.

Edit: On reflection I may have been wrong to say it this way, so I have stuck it out but left it so following posts make sense, but I still think it should be traditional.

I was going to stay out of it since I don't know any tattooists in London, but honestly I think 既來之, 則安之 is a pretty decent tattoo and originally wanted to say it but thought it was of no use. Perhaps I just enjoy the sentiment.

Shelley,

Why would you assume OP doesn't know what it means? I'd hardly call posting it in simplified "falling at the first hurdle." Give the OP some credit, it's a real chengyu, there's something in that at the very least.

But yeah, it would look better in traditional.

I didn't mean the OP didn't know what it meant, merely that if you want to do it right, it should be in traditional characters. That's all.

i don't like tattoos, but if its what the OP wants, that fine as long as they get it right.
