I remember when I was young, it was on the radio like everyday. Yep, 中央人民广播电台1988年126天连播《平凡的世界》. Maybe you can find an audiobook version too. But I'm not sure it still resonates with today's audience. It's supposed to be inspirational. And I'm allergic to inspirational.
