In English, there exists the phrase "That's life!" or "Such is life!" or "It is what it is!", from the French "C'est la vie!". It is sometimes used as an expression to say that life is harsh but that one must accept it.

Wondering how it would translate to Chinese?

这就是生活,生活就是这样/如此(rúcǐ , the same as 这样,which means like this. 这样oral, 如此formal)。

也许也可以说这就是人生,人生就是这样/如此。生活means our daily life, concrete. 人生 means your whole life, abstract.

比如: Life is like a marathon.人生就像一场马拉松。

I feel 顺其自然 may sound more like "Let it be.  Just follow the way it goes.  Allows nature to take its course."

I saw Polanski's film "Venus in Fur" a couple of weeks ago.  It is a French film.  "C'est la vie" is used by an actress in one of the dialogues to express exasperation about her very busy/ demanding life (which matches what the OP said in #1).  And the Chinese subtitle goes 有甚麽辦法.  I think that is pretty good.
