While there's plenty of information here and elsewhere on SYSU etc, there's a scarcity of anecdotes and discussion on GDUFS - it's mentioned in passing in some discussion of other Guangzhou universities (e.g. a brief mention in the Sun Yat-Sen University thread). I'd love to hear anything anyone knows or has heard about their classes, electives, dorms, or even the reputation of the institution - it's an exchange partner with my university, but AFAIK nobody from our end has ever chosen it. ° GDUFS' Institute for International Education's English-language website (slightly out of date) Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

What do You think about studying mandarin at GDUFS? Is it good idea to study in a province where 50% of spoken language is Cantonese? Is that rly hot there?
