How to write "we love startups" - 1/2/3 option

I think there is a difference between a startup and a newly established company.  For example a large company could newly establish a subsidiary company and provide it with lots of resources and capital and although it would be a newly established company, it wouldn't be a 'startup' at least not in the way the term is used in English entrepreneurial circles.

In addition, a startup doesn't have to be a newly established company. It might have been bootstrapped even for several years before moving out of the startup stage.

For what it's worth, Chinese wikipedia gives startup as 创业公司, or 创业 for short. I'd suggest that "创业公司" is more accurate for "startup (company)" as such, as I've seen 创业 used more generally for the concept of starting new ventures.

As such:

Trad: 我們愛創業公司

Simp: 我们爱创业公司

Yes I would go with 创业 as it is more than the direct translation in this case. The English "start-up" would (in my opinion) suggest new young groups, for the most part tech related, entrepreneurial etc.

If you go to 车库咖啡 in Beijing for example, this place is considered the start-up centre of China and they typically use 创业 for what is happening there.
