Grammar-wise 之 is a possessive particle, here its function is just like that of 的, allowing what comes before it to modify what comes after it. A good working translation of 之处 might be something like "aspect/s", for instance, 不同之处 "difference/s" (literally "different aspect/s")，优越之处 "advantage/s", "superior aspect/s"or "feature/s", 吸引人之处 "attractive feature/s", "attraction/s". 2 Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
