The free sample is quite long Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but all I see in the Kindle version is the dedication, copyright, and introduction, all for a total of 2 pages. I can understand not wanting to give the key concepts away, but when the sample ends before any of the book has started I have to question why have a sample at all. And it seems to be a fairly common occurrence too. IMHO, blurbs and commentary about why I should be buying the book ought to be free. One of the unfortunate truths about writing non-fiction books is that there's a relatively small number of possible titles that accurately describe the contents of a book in a way that the reader will understand before reading it.
