Ebook - tips for speaking Chinese (beginners)

Hi guys,

So my students kept asking me to collect my favorite tips and resources that would benefit beginner students.

I wrote them down in an ebook that is now available through Amazon here.

The free sample is quite long, enough to give you an idea of the general tone of the ebook.

Thanks!

Eva

Shelley, she's referring to the Kindle version, I think.

Maybe I'm doing something wrong, but all I see in the Kindle version is the dedication, copyright, and introduction, all for a total of 2 pages. So, I'm only seeing as much as Shelley said she was. I bet there's a glitch with the way it's showing the sample.

That's good, one of my pet peeves are those "free samples" that don't actually include any content at all. I can understand not wanting to give the key concepts away, but when the sample ends before any of the book has started I have to question why have a sample at all. And it seems to be a fairly common occurrence too.

IMHO, blurbs and commentary about why I should be buying the book ought to be free.

OneEye, you do have a point, but by the same token, given the origins of the name "Rosetta Stone" it takes some rather large stones to get upset with people using similar names.

One of the unfortunate truths about writing non-fiction books is that there's a relatively small number of possible titles that accurately describe the contents of a book in a way that the reader will understand before reading it.

Unfortunately a poorly researched title sometimes means a poorly researched book.

Hi everyone,

no connection with Olle - I know he is big in the community,

The term 'hacking' or 'hack' is just very hot in the education, self-study environment these days.

@lechuan - no need for reviews anymore, thanks for offering though. I just published another book on HSK I, let me know if you'd be interested.
