Use Mobile Data with China Telecom in my american cellphone (Samsung note 4)?

Hi, just bought a SIM card with China Telecom in Hangzhou and I can do and answer calls, but I don't  have internet. Theres something wrong with my cellphone or I missed something? What should I do?

You're not likely to get data on a phone you brought from home with China Telecom, at least 2G or 3G.

It is too bad that you may got the wrong card.

I suspect that you bought your cellphone in American.

Samsung note 4,right？

The N910T version fails to support China Telecom,while the N910V supports the 2G＆3G networks of China Telecom.

Well, my Note 4 is the SM-N910V....is 2G and 3G slow connections??

Yes.Much slower than 4G.

You'll probably get EDGE (2G) but not 3G. Someone else will have to address 4G.

 

Remember that you usually need to subscribe to a data plan before turning data on; otherwise the prepaid balance on your SIM card will quickly disappear as you're charged ala carte rates.
