O have been listening to some easy and catchy mandarin songs, which I did understand after a while. However, the fun would be even greater when I'm able to watch, or listen to, simple audio or video. I'm wondering what level (HSK?) I would need to do so. Also, does anyone have any suggestions for watching material that is very easy? (qiaohu, ?peipei? zhu) Somewhere around HSK4-5 you can start enjoying basic grown up stuff. victor557 Posted February 13, 2016 at 08:28 AM Report Share Posted February 13, 2016 at 08:28 AM i think that HSK4 level is definitely needed. after that, you'll pick up vocab which is specific to the context of whichever media you're viewing/listening to. actually, engaging in media is a great way to learn after you've got the basics (e.g. HSK4).
