Started a thread, but it wasn't posted?

I had a question and started a thread last week, but I haven't seen it on the forum. What happened to it?

When I look at my profile, it says one active post so I'm assuming that's referring to my post. And, there's no warnings so its not like it got deleted for violating the forum rules, right?

I tried to post in the Chinese Characters forum, and it was about trying to learn Chinese Hanzi from Japanese Kangi.

When I posted the thread, the message was that it needed moderator approval first which I understood because that was my very first post and you want to avoid spammers.

Should I re-try and post the same question again?

I have same problem twice..

I post a new topic like 'looking for a game partner for language exchange' in both of 'Speaking and Listening Skills' and 'Life, Work and Study in China in General' section. but they are gone...without any message

I too have recently registered and then posted (a couple of days ago) a new topic which has not yet appeared. I got the moderation queue message. My profile does not show it as an active post. Please can someone moderate it? Will I be notified either way?
