It might help though if you acknowledge and respond to what people have said, some of which has been very sensible, rather than just repeating your viewpoint over and over again. In other words, the medial of 'zhong' should sound 'ong'. not 'ung'. If this point has been pointed out earlier in the thread I was involved in, everybody would have emerged wiser much earlier. But no one knew better. As for the confusion, I explain that the 'zhong' played tricks to my ears to sound sometines 'jhong' and other times 'jhoong'.
