I tought it was standing for: Family, Friendship and Trust, but is it? If it is right than soon there will be another tattoo/sleeve in chinees! What you have is: 家庭 (family) 友谊 (friendship) 信赖 (to trust and rely on) The “谊” in “友谊” is missing two strokes, but they should be easy enough to ink in. Why not just tattoo 'familie, vriendschap, vertrouwen'? Perhaps you think that would look a bit weird, but this looks just as weird. Anyway. If OP can still contact the tattooist, show their receipt and get the missing three strokes for free I'd say it's a win. I think i do more research for the next one! I'm glad that i have what i wanted, it means for me ( as a dutch guy) a lot. I chosed chinees so only i and my family and friends knowed what is means, its ink on my body, in de summer every body can see it, but its chinees, so not many dutch people can read it, thats make it personal for me! The tattooist will probably remember doing that tattoo, even after 2 years. You can just show them this picture and tell them you noticed that the tattoo won't be complete without these three strokes. Plus anyone the Netherlands who knows Chinese: immigrants, ethnic Chinese, Chinese students (thousands of them) and people like me, who learned Chinese.
