I seriously thought it was ' 干嗎 bla bla' that I saw. But this url (http://www.cantonese.sheik.co.uk/dictionary/words/10381/) points it out as '幹嗎' ? So how this slang typically used. (actually this is a different ma, it would be 幹嘛!) The longer the ma, the more annoyed you are haha. Where as 你現在幹甚麼 is simply asking the question "what are you up to?"
