Buying Books In China
Amazon Bookmall DangDang Plus many more. For those not yet well into Chinese reading I suggest: http://www.studychineseculture.com It is in English, it does export overseas, and it's run by a member of this forum (hi Elina!) Another alternative is checking eBay. There are a few ebay sellers that are heavily into Chinese books. Some sell from China, some from other places. To name a few regular sellers shops: http://stores.ebay.de/Chinesisch-lernen http://stores.ebay.com/China-folk-collection http://stores.ebay.com/HeyChinese http://stores.ebay.com/IQChinese I presume that those located in China can help you to get what you want if they don't have it already. For book shops in individual cities please check under "Living in China" Last edited by flameproof; 23rd March 2008 at 01:48 PM. |

Re: Buying Books In China
Hi Flameproof, thanks for the listing, I just changed your sentence of “it's run buy a member of this forum (hi Elina !)” into this one:
it's run by a member of this forum (hi Elina!) We have already noticed those similar bookshops on Ebay, and found the products on our site are more complete than them till now, except Chinese Go Game/I-go/weichi in one Ebay store, do the foreigners like to play it? If so, we will add this kind of products to our site later. If one has enough Chinese level to read the Chinese characters on their sites, I think the best way is to buy books on amazon.cn and dangdang.com, Otherwise, the bookstores in your list are 各有千秋/each has its strong point. |

回复: Buying Books In China
The ones for the specific cities should go in the city guides otherwise we could have a billion stores in this one place...
