For instance: Cold - sugar and ginger soup Throatache - pear boiled with rock sugar Burn - toothpaste. Any suggestions as where else to look would be useful too. Thanks. Yang Rui Posted October 11, 2006 at 07:43 AM Report Share Posted October 11, 2006 at 07:43 AM Any problem that occurs in winter: drink more hot water and "wear more clothes" Heatstroke: drink 酸梅汤 (Suanmeitang) which i think is plum juice or some kind of plum infusion. For the mysterious condition known as 上火 (shang huo, or "too much heat in the body" i think) which seems to be the cause of most illnesses known to man, you can drink chrysanthemum tea. You can beef up the power of the tea by adding honeysuckle (金银花) and Chinese wolfberry (枸杞). Apparently.
