Simahui Posted November 29, 2019 at 11:36 AM Report Share Posted November 29, 2019 at 11:36 AM The plot thickens! I searched the title in Chinese and found a reference in Google books credited to Li Baochen, but there is another reference in English for "read about China" (without the cursive script) also attributed to Li Baochen. Could be a mistake.
imron Posted November 29, 2019 at 12:11 PM Report Share Posted November 29, 2019 at 12:11 PM The worldcat link Shelly posted above lists the authors (plural) as "Pao-chʻen Lee; Yi-nan Chang; Fangyu Wang", so it seems they're all in cahoots. Perhaps try searching for Pao-chʻen Lee.

Yi-nan Chang took the essays in Read About China, wrote them out in cursive, and published them as the book Read about China in Cursive Script. 1 2

大块头 Posted December 19, 2019 at 03:07 PM Report Share Posted December 19, 2019 at 03:07 PM If there are any other out-of-print and difficult-to-find books that people want, I'm willing to scan them if they aren't too long.
OneEye Posted December 20, 2019 at 03:59 PM Report Share Posted December 20, 2019 at 03:59 PM What a fantastic resource, as expected. I've never seen anything done by the FSI in the 60s and 70s that wasn't just outstanding. Many thanks to 大块头 for taking the time to do this!
