Dina Posted March 13, 2004 at 12:11 PM Report Share Posted March 13, 2004 at 12:11 PM Does anybody know if is enough the Wen Lin as a dictionary for Chinese words not been so much in use or will help to have the Clavis Sinica program to have more words´s options? skylee Posted March 13, 2004 at 12:42 PM Report Share Posted March 13, 2004 at 12:42 PM Seriously, I think <The Pinyin Chinese-English Dictionary> (漢英詞典) by the Commercial Press (ISBN 9620700066) is a good Chinese-English Dictionary. Also take a look at other suggestions here and here (actually check out the "textbooks and resources" category).

kentsuarez Posted March 17, 2004 at 07:45 AM Report Share Posted March 17, 2004 at 07:45 AM I *strongly* recommend the ABC Chin.-Engl. Comprehensive Dictionary (available on Amazon or from publisher, University of Hawaii Press). See reviews on Amazon for details.
