Learn Chinese in China

Anime, anyone?

Anyone familiar with Sailor Moon will know, but might not love Japanese cartoons, otherwise known as anime and manga (comicbook form)

As for me, I'm an ethusiast.

My favorite one is based on Journey to the West, and it's called Gensomaden Saiyuki.

It takes some liberties with the story (the monk is potrayed as a swearing, hardhearted, very cool, practical, gun handling bishonen) but overall I adore it.

Of course there are others, like Ayashi No Ceres, and the more famous Sakura Wars, and the chinese manga book Legend of the Condor Heroes given the Japanese anime treatment.

Basically, I didn't see any thread for this, and I thought it deserved one!
