I have opportunities to teach French in Wuan (University of science and technology) and Hangzhou (Zhejiang University). The salaries/benefits are the same. Could someone who knows both cities tell me what would be the best choice in relation to the living conditions and the cost of living? Your advices would be greatly appreciated!! Hangzhou locates near Shanghai and is famous for its beautiful scenery, a small city but property there higher priced than many big cities, but rental price is not as steep. Wuhan is famous for its industry, and as previous post, dirtier than Hangzhou, but living cost is comparatively low.
