I'm good at pronouncing the different sounds and tones, but I'd like to expand my vocabulary and grammar. I have girls teaching me, but I want to learn quicker and do stuff on my own. Because it's a classic it's full of bookish vocabulary, so probably not the best book to learn from. They have a number of books of stories that are in pinyin with simplified characters just below. Usually there is an English translation at the end of the story as well.
