Guest jizhu3 Posted April 20, 2004 at 06:40 AM Report Share Posted April 20, 2004 at 06:40 AM What's "回执" in English?
skylee Posted April 20, 2004 at 09:14 AM Report Share Posted April 20, 2004 at 09:14 AM 我從來沒見過這個詞兒, 真是孤陋寡聞得很. 詞典說它是回條或是向寄件人証明郵件已送到的憑據的意思, 那麼英文就應該是 reply slip, acknowledgement of receipt, 或是 receipt.
coolshy Posted May 1, 2004 at 02:14 PM Report Share Posted May 1, 2004 at 02:14 PM 对,回执应该是receipt。
geek_frappa Posted May 1, 2004 at 08:25 PM Report Share Posted May 1, 2004 at 08:25 PM 回执 <---- "feedback" Feedback 就是 comments, suggestions or any response to a situation or question. "Please, taste this soup and give me some feedback." "Please, answer the questions to give us feedback."
skylee Posted May 2, 2004 at 12:48 AM Report Share Posted May 2, 2004 at 12:48 AM I doubt very much if 回執 means feedback. Isn't feedback 意見, 回應, 回饋?
geek_frappa Posted May 2, 2004 at 12:55 AM Report Share Posted May 2, 2004 at 12:55 AM yes, you are correct. i am confident with chinese again. ... hehe... so i can dispute now. in technology, 回執 <---- this is feedback in common speech, 回執 <--- this is acknowledgement of a reciept i've heard both of them used. jbradfor Posted April 30, 2012 at 04:10 PM Report Share Posted April 30, 2012 at 04:10 PM I just came across this word. Context was in the Subject: line in an email. It was used the same way that we would typically use a "Re:", i.e. "<original subject>的回執". First time I've seen that use, normally I see "答复: <original subject>" or "回复" or something like that. [Funny, this thread is currently the second ranked hit on google, that's how I found it.]
daofeishi Posted April 30, 2012 at 08:57 PM Report Share Posted April 30, 2012 at 08:57 PM Isn't feedback 意見, 回應, 回饋? ... isn't one of the more common translations of feedback 反馈?
skylee Posted May 1, 2012 at 04:35 AM Report Share Posted May 1, 2012 at 04:35 AM 反馈 sounds very awkward to me. Do people really say that? Perhaps it is common on the Mainland. It is not used in my circle.
anonymoose Posted May 1, 2012 at 05:43 AM Report Share Posted May 1, 2012 at 05:43 AM 反馈 sounds very awkward to me. Do people really say that? Yes. It seems very common to me. At least when used scientifically.
daofeishi Posted May 1, 2012 at 06:02 AM Report Share Posted May 1, 2012 at 06:02 AM 反馈 sounds very awkward to me. Do people really say that? Yes. It seems very common to me. At least when used scientifically. Not just scientifically, as far as I can tell. Most websites I see with feedback forms seem to ask for 反馈 as well, like 新浪微博, 优酷, etc.
tooironic Posted May 1, 2012 at 11:00 PM Report Share Posted May 1, 2012 at 11:00 PM Yes, 反馈 is common. I've heard it many times, but only by Mainlanders.
