Learn Chinese in China

searching publications about 占卜, 梦占, 算命, 乩, 算卦

Recommended Posts

I'm collecting titles of chinese publications about divination in china for my research paper. The range covers both traditional an modern china. Unfortunately with no satisfying success up to now. I searched at books.qooqle.cn and amazon but the results are intermingled with popular pracical guidebooks (how to tell your fortune on 366 days a year...)

I was recommended this site for book reviews: http://www.cbr.org.cn/ but didn't find anything. Is this really chinas most important book review page?

I'm sure there are research projects out there on this issue but how can I find them? I'd be most lucky to have their bibliographies...

Thanks for advice.

I think there is:

Try search as

ancient tradition and beliefs,

religion, religion history

Taoism (many Chinese divination has to do with Taoism)

And many divination come from I-ching.

I just know many things can be use for 占卜.

bamboo stick, writing on sand, TuiBei picture, incense, Java Sparrow, even a word, turtle shell

search with 占卜

search with 占卦

Good "luck"

Let us know how the search goes, I want to know too. Thank you.
