I did try it once in London and it was a lot of fun!) Anyone know any regular speed dating events in Beijing? I've only found one place on the internet but they haven't replied to my email. Thanks! If you're looking for something 'local' try searching for 快速约会, but I'm not sure how popular it would be here - I think group activities might be more popular. Because we mostly advertise in ex-pat magazines and through word of mouth, our events are run in English. The participants are generally young professionals many whom are foreigners. Many people are nervous to try it but in Beijing it is a great way to meet friends as well as dates. It helps to come with friends so that have some support around you.
