Sebastian 10
Thanks. Any other comment on this?
simonlaing 20
I think it takes longer than that or have built a line since then. Some students came to play ultimate frisbee in the middle of the city and was 40 minutes subway and then 30-40 more minutes by bus (because of traffic) if they took a tax it was around 1 hour and expensive. There are other schools closer to the down town, Jiaotong is closer.. I would go there first and then decide if possible. Good luck, Simon:)
Smafy 10
Yes. Agree with you. But there are two main campuses of Jiao Tong. The one you mentioned is in the downtown Xujiahui, but it is a bit small, also very beautifully, with old trees all around. I am now studying in the other campus of Jiao Tong in Minhang, it is one hour of subway to People Square! But the environment is excellent! Bless~~~
Pokiemon 10
Why not live on campus?? Traffics in China is the only thing I don't understand about China even though I'm a Chinese. Just keep in mind, if you wanna cross the road, don't use the pedestrian lights- people just drive as if the lights don't exist.
