If you have the Office Chinese IME installed, you can highlight Chinese text and then go to "Format", "Asian Layout", then "Phonetic guide", it puts pinyin with tone marks over the Chinese characters in your document. As well as using it to get pinyin for your own compositions you can just paste in text from websites etc, so you get an instant pinyin guide (very useful if like me you keep forgetting the tones).
