Some of my friends say "Go-sip", but some other say "Ga-sip". After looking up in Merriam-Webster and Kingsoft Dictionary, both sounds do exist in a dictionary. Which one is more common? People usually consider Midwestern/Ohio accents the most standard English accent (I believe), and the way I pronounce it is (Gah-sip) --> spelled Gossip.
