vr2nr Posted April 1, 2010 at 09:11 AM Report Share Posted April 1, 2010 at 09:11 AM (edited) I study in Dalian, Kaifaqu and think it works quite well. There are some foreign teachers here, but outside of Starbucks, I pretty much only see local people. I have friends who study here and when they visit Beijing, they say it is like night and day (i.e., too many people speaking English). xueshengDan Posted April 28, 2010 at 03:56 PM Report Share Posted April 28, 2010 at 03:56 PM I also have considered Dalian as a place to study. There seems to be many good resources there as well a universities. I am looking into Dalian Maritime University. From what I hear that the only draw backis the lack of historical sites, but you can always take train trips to places like Shenyang. Good luck with your choice.
