So 心灵(灵+spirit) may mean your thinking or mind. eg. 他的心灵很美。He has a pure heart. 她的心灵受到震动。She is astonished. While 心 has the same application besides its physical aspect. 他伤透了心。He is desperate. 她的心受伤了。She is hurt. I wish it will help you clarify these words.
