Do you recommend Nanjing as a place to come to this summer? Is it a pretty city? How is the pollution? Are people nice? I'm trying to decide between a ton of cities (Qingdao, Dalian, Chengdu, Hangzhou, and Kunming) and because I've never been to China I'm having a hard time of it. Do you recommend Nanjing as a place to come to this summer? I've no idea, Nanjing is a historic city so maybe you can have a better feeling of Chinese culture there. Is it a pretty city? Yes, except for its pollution. Chang Jiang, and a lot of historic places should be good. How is the pollution? See answer above. Are people nice? Mmmm...average. Others in my view: Kunming: environment is very nice, weather is great. Qingdao: The sea,...seafood, beer and beach... Chengdu: Hotpot! And the weather is hot too. Dalian: Good. Port city.
