dr0pe 0 Report post Posted March 11, 2016 Hey guys, do you know where can i get pokemon( 动画 or 漫画) simplified, for download?
feihong 572 Report post Posted March 12, 2016 Apparently, Pokemon's Chinese name is 神奇宝贝. Searching for a download for this series is probably not worthwhile. You can, however, just read it online: http://www.dm5.com/manhua-shenqibaobeitebiepian/.
dr0pe 0 Report post Posted March 15, 2016 Thanks! What about 海贼王? I only found traditional characters in http://www.dm5.com/
feihong 572 Report post Posted May 16, 2016 Someone asked if there was a simplified hanzi version on Baidu Tieba: http://tieba.baidu.com/p/905290691. Also on Sougou Wenwen: http://wenwen.sogou.com/z/q135667687.htm In both cases, they were unable to get a satisfactory answer. When I was reading comics in Chinese, I had to read quite a bit of traditional, especially if it was Japanese in origin, because most official translations are in traditional (i.e. the Taiwanese print version). I just got used to it over time. If you start with something simple like 四叶妹妹 (Yotsuba), it's far more manageable in the beginning.

feihong 572 Report post Posted July 10, 2019 I want to start posting comic reading projects again, this time focusing on webcomics. Who’s interested? Any requests for genre or reading level?

Any requests for genre or reading level? I'm interested! Having recently read a grand total of one comic (Tintin...), I quite enjoyed it, far more so than when I try to drag myself through a book. No preference on genre, my level is around hsk5.
matteo 93 Report post Posted July 11, 2019 That'd be cool! I've read just a few titles, mostly on and off and mixing them with the animated series so I can't really give a full account of any of them. My only selection criteria has been 简体字, so couldn't really be fussy. Of the three listed below, I find especially the first one to be really enjoyable! 镇魂街 http://m.taduo.net/manhua/20/391.html 狐妖小红娘 镖人
feihong 572 Report post Posted July 11, 2019 I really like 镖人, but it’s in traditional, right? My first pick will probably be sci-fi anthology 宇宙商店: https://m.dongmanmanhua.cn/FANTASY/yuzhoushangdian/list?title_no=1367
matteo 93 Report post Posted November 28, 2019 ups, super late reply! I own a copy of the first chapter of 镖人 in simplified, bought in Suzhou!
Weyland 120 Report post Posted May 24, 2020 Does anyone know of a Chinese website that organizes all Chinese manga like Baka-Updates? I'm not that familiar with manga, especially Chinese ones, but I'm wishing to read more... Having something like what Baka-Updates has for Berserk would save A LOT of time. feihong 572 Report post Posted May 24, 2020 I don't think there's a wiki site dedicated to Chinese manhua, but I wouldn't consider myself an expert on manhua in general. However, I recently started a spreadsheet for Chinese webtoons: https://www.notion.so/megafeihong/312892595fa94873acd157576141d722?v=5b817c8f7741404791a5939103d06a09. Besides general information about each webtoon, I give it a thumbs-up/down and keep track of how much I read of it.
