i stayed in china for a month this summer, and i learned some really cool slangs, some are spoken, some are written, used in bbs, however, i'm not gonna go into dirty talks, anyho, check'em out:

ft (faint), 晕,倒,没想法了,狂没想法(狂 is used a lot in spoken language as an emphasis)

强,狼一样的,猪一样的,猛女, 牛(usually for complements)

埽说, 屁话,废话(used for shut up)

爽,酷, 沙发,超 is often used as 'very'

勒瑟,鸟人 (rubbish, waste, scum...)

我懒得来diao3你 (I don't even bother to 理你)

雌龙, 拉拉(lesbians)

溜溜族, 月光族

there are so much more, if you just hang around in any chinese bbs or chatroom for like 10 minutes, you will know all these, they sound so cool.

This reminds me of a joke about the abuse of English cyber language in real life. In Chinese forums, people use 'nod' to show his agreement with somebody. Once a Chinese student went to the American Embassy to apply for the visa. The visa officer had a dialogue with him:

VO: 'so you are going to xx University'?

student: 'nod'.

VO: 'you got a fellowship'?

student: 'nod'.

VO: '......'?

student: 'nod'.

......

......

don't know if this guy got the visa finally.
