I want to write my graduation thesis about different kinds of chinese food names. I know that there are some names that include a way of preparing the dish, name of main ingrediant, name of souce and so on. I'm mostly interested in names that for strangers have nothing to do with food, like: "Ants Climbing a Tree", "Buddha Jumps Over the Wall". But to write my paper I need some more information about it like articles and book connected to onomastics. Does anyone know any good publication I could rely on?
