Hi i found this forum really useful when researching chinese language programs in Beijing, and it seems like there is a clear winner from my short list of Peking / Tsinghua / BLCU.

Was wanting to get some insight into how u guys are finding the course so far? What are the class sizes, % foreigners/locals, dorm conditions, options for electives?

I am looking to apply for the 2012 Feb-June semester, and can speak rusty mandarain and basic reading thanks to karaoke and listening to a bit of jay chou a few years back!

Hi @David Lau, I did ACC too, back in summer 2008. Cool!

I am thinking about coming back to Beijing to study Chinese for a year and I am choosing between BLCU and Tsinghua. I'd love to hear about how your experience has been. It's interesting that your friends who had experienced both of the programs recommended Tsinghua over BLCU: I wonder what the advantages are... Anyway, I would really appreciate it if you could share your thoughts on the Tsinghua program. Thanks!!
