SLA Posted July 14, 2011 at 06:48 PM Report Share Posted July 14, 2011 at 06:48 PM I know it may sound a bit stupid but I am going to Qingdao University for a month and I am staying on campus, so I was wondering whether the dorms have bedsheets or I should bring my own. (This is the first time I'm staying at a university dormitory, please forgive me ) SLA
fanglu Posted July 14, 2011 at 08:14 PM Report Share Posted July 14, 2011 at 08:14 PM They have sheets. You don't need to bring your own.

carey Posted July 14, 2011 at 09:34 PM Report Share Posted July 14, 2011 at 09:34 PM May be you can take your own sheet! Have another sheet is not a bad thing.
abcdefg Posted July 15, 2011 at 06:28 AM Report Share Posted July 15, 2011 at 06:28 AM Save your precious luggage space for other things. Even if you wind up needing sheets, it's inexpensive and easy to buy them once you arrive. Same goes for towels.
SLA Posted July 15, 2011 at 02:36 PM Author Report Share Posted July 15, 2011 at 02:36 PM Thanx everyone I guess I am going to take one bedsheet and a pillow cover just in case. Luggage space is precious, indeed, but since I am going to arrive on a Sunday evening when I suppose everything is going to be closed, I am not willing to take the risk and end up with no sheets to sleep on. Thanx once again SLA
Vuong Moc Posted July 15, 2011 at 02:42 PM Report Share Posted July 15, 2011 at 02:42 PM Hi, I was in China and I am sure that the supermarket will open even in Sunday evening (until 10, 11 p.m). No worry. Moreover the bed in the dorm may be much smaller than that in your room...so if I were you, I will bring big towel instead, just in case.
langxia Posted July 15, 2011 at 06:26 PM Report Share Posted July 15, 2011 at 06:26 PM Just take a towel (who travels without a towel anyway? just imagine that the vogones come and you have no towel with you!) in the worst case your towel can serve as bedsheet. problem solved.
imron Posted July 15, 2011 at 10:11 PM Report Share Posted July 15, 2011 at 10:11 PM (edited) just imagine that the vogones come and you have no towel with you A tragedy of galaxian proportion! I wouldn't bother with the bedsheets or pillowcase covers. Your dorm room will have these. SLA Posted July 16, 2011 at 06:37 AM Author Report Share Posted July 16, 2011 at 06:37 AM A large tower definitely seems the best option. It really is multifunctional Thanx guys!
Lu Posted July 16, 2011 at 11:05 AM Report Share Posted July 16, 2011 at 11:05 AM Yah, towers are generally not provided. Make sure you don't forget to bring stairs as well though :-)
