Gymnosopher Posted November 23, 2011 at 05:12 PM Report Share Posted November 23, 2011 at 05:12 PM I don't know anything about it but Hawaii is supposed to be good for Chinese studies (?) and for being by the sea (?!)
skylee Posted November 23, 2011 at 05:33 PM Report Share Posted November 23, 2011 at 05:33 PM If you care for working in HK, which is technically not overseas, perhaps you could consider the Chinese University of HK and the HK Institute of Education. Both are pretty close to the sea. The HK University of Science and Technology has a stunning seaview but has no Chinese Department (but surely there are Chinese teaching posts in its language centre). yonglin Posted November 24, 2011 at 02:41 PM Report Share Posted November 24, 2011 at 02:41 PM I have a friend who studied Chinese at the University of La Rochelle (France). Thought I'd throw that in, since it's for sure by the sea!
