niubi Posted November 2, 2003 at 11:02 AM Report Share Posted November 2, 2003 at 11:02 AM when i was a student in china, i was mistaken for an author from india. it was only among the indian student population in beijing. many students from india would just sit and stare at me on campus in beijing. they thought i looked like vikram seth. unfortunately i have neither a good photo of vikram seth, nor a good photo of myself from that time, particularly when people where whispering about me. anyway... here is vikram seth: here am i, it was a few months after people were talking about me, but its as close to that time as i have - i am camera shy i guess (photo taken by a friend from iceland in his dorm room, my best friend and drinking buddy in beijing): Quote Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
