flynnfrogg Posted January 15, 2012 at 03:06 AM Report Share Posted January 15, 2012 at 03:06 AM Hi all Is there a program to convert chunks of text in Traditional characters to Simplified ? As part of my learning program , I am reading Skylee's blog (and others) but I am blocked by my recognition of Trad characters (and at this juncture, will have difficulty learning both forms of any given word). ah-ha as an afterthought, how about setting up BlossomingSky2 in simplified form, Skylee? xiaocai Posted January 15, 2012 at 06:16 AM Report Share Posted January 15, 2012 at 06:16 AM I'm afraid she will not. But I think you can simply type her blog address in Google translate and set the languages from traditional to simplified Chinese. I think it is a good way to get yourself familiar with traditional. BTW, Chinese corner is normally Chinese only. But if you don't feel confident enough, you can always post in both languages. 可能性不大。不过若是用Google translate的话其实很简单,只需把语言设定为中文繁体转中文简体就可以了。同时又可以学繁体字。 我觉得在中文角最好用中文。不过如果你觉得心里没底,中英并用也行。 原来rezaf已提过Google translator。有时不是很习惯在中文角看到英文,失礼了⋯⋯
Iriya Posted January 15, 2012 at 08:04 AM Report Share Posted January 15, 2012 at 08:04 AM Yeah, 新同文堂 is an amazing plugin. You can set it to automatically convert 繁体字 to 简体字, so you'll never see 繁体字 ever again, in any part of the Internet. Pretty awesome, eh? There's a Chrome version, as well.
