Hello, my dad is Taiwanese and my mom is Vietnamese so basicly I'm half of both. When I was little, my dad left my family, therefore he didn't teach me anything related to Chinese, including how to write my name. He left me this text (it's my name), Can any one please type my name up here so I can google search it in advance for the effort of finding my other family ? : (The pronuncition is Hung Yi Shin, which is written on my birth certificate. My translated name to Vietnamese is Hong Ich Han.) Thanks!

洪逸欣

Mandarin pronunciation (in pinyin) is Hóng Yìxīn.

The pronunciation you gave looks like the same thing, only romanised using some kind of a hybrid system, close to Wade-Giles.

I doubt it's actually any system at all. It works well for this name though.

Yeah, names are often like that
Taiwanese names at least. Mainland Chinese names usually not. Hong Kong also has a system, if I'm not mistaken.

Also I agree with Skylee, a nice and normal name.
