There are a lot of surnames used as first names, especially in America. For example, Grant, originally a surname, began as a first name in America and is now common throughout the English-speaking world. But I think it would sound better if you used these surname-type forenames if you were a man. Sherwood Huang, Sherman Huang - these sound like a man. You didn't reply and say what sex you are.
