I’m kinda annoyed from recently falling ill from eating china goji berries. I tried an organic brand before and had not noticed problem. This regular version was cheaper and more quantity. Now I’m having doubts on just how safe even “usda organic” label is when sourced from china.

There been some reports citing concerns about how safe china gojis are even with “organic” label. it been questioned how much control usda really has in a foreign state to maintain food safety standard it otherwise can have operating in native soil.

It sad cuz goji is natural super food. So much potential squandered like this from mismanagement. I may have to give up this super food…

You guy china native or westerners in china?

Well I don’t recall getting ill with the navita organic brand. The ones under suspicion this time is some regular china brand from asian supermarket. I even soaked them in vinegar in attempt to detox more pesticide. Everything else I ate along was organic. And this type of goji was the only new introduction.

I mean china does have a harmful food rep but I try not to be biased when there no reason to be.

I also found other concerns and complains.
