i'm trying to see if i can make it easier to translate Roman Number into Chinese Characters and Hanyu Pinyin....

(only works from 0 to 99,999) ... play with it if you have time :)

Looks good to me. I even tried to trip it up by adding some decimal points, and although my Chinese knowledge isn't good enough to know how they would really be handled in Chinese (I would think they would use dian "点" but I'm not sure) , the program handled them consistently, so I will assume it's the right way. Good job :)

yes, dian. but this is a challenge for me. i've never counted this higher before. i will start working with fractions and decimals soon. but, :oops: i am still having ling problems ... When is Ling used for the Wan and WanWan(Yi)?

does anybody know how to do negative numbers in Chinese?

add 负

e.g. 负一(-1), 负一点二(-1.2), 负四(-4), 负五分之一(-1/5), 负pi(-PI), 负一万零三百八十六点二二三(-10386.223)
