I tried so hard to read the English translation of the novel and gave up literally after a few chapters but the podcast is easy to follow, interesting and funny! There are also great supplemental episodes on the historical element of the main characters and related topics. I hope John will do other Chinese classics after this one maybe Water Margin or Dream of The Red Chamber? Hopefully more people will listen to his podcast.
