MoTzu 17 Report post Posted July 27, 2014 Hi guys, so I'm new to the forum and new to Harbin. I have friends here but they've all gone to USA and Thailand for the holidays and unfortunately the police still have my passport preparing my residency visa. So I'm pretty much sitting in my apartment watching movies at night, and wandering the city getting lost in backalleys and eating street food during the day. Is anyone keen on going to Russiansize, or maybe just out for dinner and a quiet few beers if Russiansize isn't your thing. I'm on holidays till the second week of August. Drinks are pretty dear out and about here, and I don't get paid for these holidays till the end of my contract in November so I'm not planning on having an all nighter. MoTzu 17 Report post Posted August 12, 2014 I'm not going anywhere mate I love this city and I'm more than happy to meet new people. I caught up with studychinese from the forums the other night for dinner but we only ate and had literally 1 beer each then I had to leave because I had an early start the next day. I have Thursday and Friday off work, so either Wednesday or Thursday night would be perfect if you don't want it cut short, or whenever really.
Paulk 0 Report post Posted August 19, 2014 Good Morning, My wife and I just moved to Harbin this past weekend. We're both Americans with little Chinese language skills. We are always up for meeting new folks over good food. Paul

Baby Charlie 18 Report post Posted September 21, 2016 Where in Harbin are all of you? I am out in the industrial area of Harbin, where all the universities are!
Nathan and Xue 2 Report post Posted September 26, 2016 PaulK - Me and my wife are in the same position (although we have lived here a little longer) - we really want to meet some new people, and make some new friends. Currently we live on the very outskirts of harbin, which makes meeting other english-speaking people difficult, so we came to this site to try and find some new friends. We travel into the centre of harbin around 3 times a week to teach evening classes, so if you ever fancy meeting up with another couple in harbin, then send me a message!
