I'm looking for a school in the North New Jersey - New York City USA area. Hopefully good for children and adults and on the weekend.

I'm not familiar with the schools in the area, but a quick google search comes up with a lot of schools.

But I think more importantly, what are you looking for in the school? Is it to learn simplified or traditional characters? Hanyu pinyin or ㄅㄆㄇㄈ? Mandarin or Cantonese?

For example, New York Chinese School (http://www.nychineseschool.org) teaches traditional characters, and has classes both in Mandarin and Cantonese. Whereas North New Jersey Chinese Association Chinese School (http://www.nnjcacs.org) teaches simplified characters and hanyu pinyin.
