2015 Huayu Enrichment Scholarship Notification

Recommended Posts

Hi, has anyone here applied for this year's HES? If so, is was it with the New York Consulate, and have you heard back?

My friend applied with the Chicago consulate and head back about a month ago, but I haven't heard a thing from the New York one...

I heard back from the New York office on Friday May 8 about a 9-month scholarship. I received a phone call immediately prior to receiving an email. At the time, the person on the phone made it sound like they still had a couple weeks left of reviewing applications. He said I would receive paperwork in the mail by the end of the month but I have yet to receive anything.

I hope that helps.

There's also a thread going on over at Forumosa about 2015-2016 Huayu Enrichment Scholarship. It appears others are still awaiting notification.

Thanks for the response MarsBlackman!

Haha I actually have been keeping track of the Forumosa thread as well, but was hoping there were some others not on there, who are on this site.

Since it's been so long, I thought it was likely I didn't get it, but I also had not received a rejection either, so I'm not sure what to think at all.

Nothing to do but sit tight I suppose and hope they send the rest out soon.
