The way people talk indicates that the never been through what I've been through all these years. Yes, I'm 18 now, but I don't wait until I turn 19 or whatever to start again. I'm angry at everyone including myself and I'm turning to unreasonable and misreable.  It's so disgusting, so painful and hurtful. I was already preparing to leave this helll forever and never come back to see the people which I live with. This makes me itching every second, I'm turning into a complete insanity. I can't sleep, I can't think. I don't do anything.

Due this, I wake up at mid night sometimes or very early in the morning and I feel that I need to hurry to finish my papers, even though I know that I won't be there. Then I sleep again and again I wake up and so on all night long , this is how I sleep. I lost everything. This is serious to me, very serious. You don't feel what I feel.

I can't say anything, anymore. ahhhh....

Well, you're right, we can't know exactly what you feel or what is your situation.

We can only give you advice which may or may not apply to your situation.

I hope the disappointment fades quickly and you sleep better soon.

And then, I hope you have the opportunity to make plans and work hard to make your dream happen - even though it might be more difficult and require more time than you were led to believe.

Best wishes.

Ah, you have no idea what other people have been through/are going through. I am 26  :P Life is not a race.

You can use this year to learn Mandarin, don't worry, you won't be wasting your time.

Have a read through the CSC topic I linked to earlier - there's no guarantee, but thousands of people get scholarships every year. Start planning now and there's no reason why you couldn't join them. Also, if you're convinced you want to get to China, it might be a good idea to start a new topic, introducing yourself and explaining who you are, what you want to do, and why, then people can give you more advice.

You shouldn't stress at 18. Look, I finished undergrad at 23, and I'm starting my masters this fall starting at age 29.

My mom started her masters at 45, and now she is following her dream as a musician, has already written off-broadway shows and got hired for and is working hard at writing the score for a large musical production. She has worked until her mid-fifties to get to the point where she can finally do what she loves.

I know that sometimes it may seem like because something doesn't work out that it's the end. I understand because when I was 18 I went through the same thing. I was stuck in this horrible little town that I hated where no one understood me, and I thought I wouldn't get out.

You will get out, but you have to be patient. If you have to wait before you can go, then use your time preparing. Make sure you are ready when the opportunity comes. It's easy to give into depression or despair or apathy, but you have to keep going. You are going to run into a lot harder stuff in life than this. Trust me.

Yup, I got the CSC scholarship twice, nothing is impossible. I can't guarantee you will get it, but I also can't guarantee you won't get it.

Tell us what you are interested in, why do you like China, where are you from? I am sure there are people who can help out.

There is nothing wrong with starting your degree later than planned. Especially if you are planning to study abroad. My university here has a solid computer science department. Much better and more professional than what certain people promised you. Don't be mad at them and let them interfere with your life and your plans. If you are interested in China you can try to apply next year. Be calm. What you need to know about the CSC for now is whether it is available for citizens of your country. I have already listed foreign universities in China. You can also try Taiwan and other places with similar culture.

Also, why China? You can try any university anywhere in the world. As long as you are realistic, you can do anything.

You don't even need a college degree to lead a happy life. There are plenty of people good at what they are doing. We are all different. You don't need to have other people tell you what you must do in order to be 'succeesful'.

@洋人丹 Age is not a preventive, say you were promised to be out of where you are. The dark place which you hate. Again they tell you won't go. You'll stay for whatever years. Not all the souls are equal, this makes me literally wishing death. I'm not strong enough to handle more pressure and believe me, I don't care how long will I live, I already said and I always say: Life doesn't worth living. I'm 18 and I say this to you what do you expect ? It's getting painful that I hoped to get out this year, I wish to die rather than living if I'm going to spend the second moment at the place where I live.

To say the truth, I always felt that I don't deserve to live, life doesn't worth the pain of the tradegeis. No one of you will appreciate the words I write here, except when you set for a moment in the place where I live, just for a moment. However, I kept holding on all these years. I promised myself, if I'm not going to get out, I'll finish this pain in my own way. I don't for anyone. I lost everything from now and on. The compassion that I considered one day as a tool for living, I take it now as nothing.

Life is all about materials, having money, growing and building and then you die. You take nothing with you. All your wealth, dreams and power, fades away after you die. I was nothing, I didn't exist before 1996, the damned year, when I was born and I wish if I wasn't. I really don't care if I'm going to continue or drop in hell, nothing is fine since my existence. People don't care, all what they care is there interests, including my parents, I told them I wish if I wasn't alive, because of them I came to life, they're responsbile for this ugly existence.

I really want to die.

I'm empty person, so I have no interests.

I like nothing in China, forced to be in China no another option.

I ask myself about my origin, I basically don't know.

I like this one, "I am sure there are people who can help out", countless, endless people.

You can try this and that, if not here there. What's new? Keep wishing, you'll be fine. Smile. Laugh... and so what ? CSC is a lie forget about all scholarships, they're dramatic lies. I don't drool for them anymore.

The CSC scholarship is under the rule of MOE in this country, this means, it's based on their agenda. Since it's based on their agenda, I guarantee you that I will never ever be granted this scholarship. This is how it works intentionally.

I went to the Chinese embassy and I know what's going on.

Come on! Where are you from? I am from Macedonia and there is a lot of corruption and 'special children'. YET, even though you are supposed to send your application through the local MOE, it is China that is supposed to decide who will be awarded the scholarship. And I swear I got it two times without using any form of help, corruption, nepotism and so on. Who says you can't do anything?

I have to say, I am quite impressed with you new_e3. Not everybody is able to detect a scam and especially not in the way you did it.

I read that you are angry with everyone even yourself. Don't be. There is nothing you did wrong! It was the liars who would tell you anything in order to get money but you saw through that. That is an impressive trait for any person and more though if he is young as you are.

I don't know what your wishes are. You wrote here that you just want to leave your place. If this is the dream inside your heart than just do it. Even when you don't have the money yet. You are smart! I'm sure you will figure out a way! It doesn't have to be China. Have you thought about a work internship? You speak English so there are a lot of places in the world where you can work. Or you could help a year in a social project in a foreign country. There are so many opportunities!

Before you go to sleep you can try out this.

1.Try to think of something good that happened to you today. If there wasn't anything

2.Try to think about something good a person did to you. (even if it was 'just' a smile) Will your reaction encourage the person to do that gesture next time? If there wasn't anything

3.Try to think of something beautiful you saw/heard/sensed/smelled/ate today.

If there wasn't anything don't be angry. Instead get out the next day and look for something beautiful. It can be a bird or the moon, a flower or a color which your like.

You are not 'noone'. You are cared for. We care for you :)

Heads up :)

Actually, I applied by using this agent. They got me admitted. There was no problem. I was nearly missing the application deadline due to my job but they help me to get a few extra days. It is an undeniable fact that everybody hesitates as using an foreign agent but I think that they are not scammers. Sicas is a reliable agent to me.

@edelweis do not take it personal.

I will be able to add some pictures of me after landing in China. So that, the forum will have some concrete evidences. They helped me to get admitted. It is a shame that blaming without an evidence.
