How do you prove that you know Chinese to non-speakers?

Haha yeah. It has worked for me a few times. Most people have actually been quite impressed that I could just go on and on without mistakes neither with the meaning nor the pinyin. (they don't get the tone thing, but they can read the pinyin and hear that it looks like what I said) and I don't really see it as if people doubt me or want to provoke or anything. Most times its because they are actually interested in hearing me speak chinese. (because they think it's awesome that I can) And I appreciate that, given all I've been through to learn it
