DonCachopo Posted January 4, 2016 at 12:40 PM Report Share Posted January 4, 2016 at 12:40 PM Hi. What software do you use for reading Chinese books? I tried Adobe reader and nitro pro, but: -Adobe: I can't type hanzi characters in textboxes - Nitro: I can't highlight most Chinese characters. This also happens with ezpdf, in Android How can I solve these problems? I'd rather use nitro Thanks
Shelley Posted January 4, 2016 at 01:01 PM Report Share Posted January 4, 2016 at 01:01 PM PDF files are usually not editable. A PDF file is like a picture file. Are you using a PC or Android? You can get a program for PC that turns a PDF in to an editable WORD file. This is probably the easiest way to go. Hope this helps. P.S. Found this https://www.pdftoword.com/

歐博思 Posted January 9, 2016 at 06:52 AM Report Share Posted January 9, 2016 at 06:52 AM I am able to add Chinese text to PDFs with Adobe Pro 11. Can you say more about not being able to type characters in Adobe? Do they show up as &(*&(#*% or 口口口? If the latter it could be encoding issues with your computer.
