character Posted January 8, 2016 at 11:05 AM Report Share Posted January 8, 2016 at 11:05 AM When I search using the Google Site option, I do not get results back. When I search using the Fourms option, I do.
roddy Posted January 8, 2016 at 11:12 AM Report Share Posted January 8, 2016 at 11:12 AM It's working here. Are you in China, or anywhere that might prevent access to Google? Working through a VPN (which might have generated lots of Google traffic from one IP and got banned or something)?
Guest realmayo Posted January 8, 2016 at 11:16 AM Report Share Posted January 8, 2016 at 11:16 AM Working intermittently for me.

imron Posted January 9, 2016 at 01:54 AM Report Share Posted January 9, 2016 at 01:54 AM If you use a ad/tracking blocker such as Ghostery, you need to make sure it's not blocking the Google AJAX search API, otherwise the search results won't show. Guest realmayo Posted January 9, 2016 at 06:46 AM Report Share Posted January 9, 2016 at 06:46 AM A couple of days ago I had "no results" from google which surprised me, but was successful when using the 'forums' search.
roddy Posted January 11, 2016 at 11:50 AM Report Share Posted January 11, 2016 at 11:50 AM Bear in mind that Google only indexes parts of the site which are open to public view (which is almost everything, but not news and a couple of other non-core forums) and doesn't necessarily index absolutely everything. It is pretty quick at picking up new topics, but not so good at picking up new posts in existing ones.
