Guangzhou, learning Chinese for foreigners

Hi everyone,

I'll do it straight to the point

I want to learn Mandarin in Guangzhou. It has to be in Guangzhou because my Dad told me so :P (isn't it nice that I've narrowed it down to this one city?)

I've done some search on the internet and so far I only come up with Sun Yat-Sen university (Zhongshan university?). I've calculated all the cost based on the information provided in their website and with my budget right now, I can only do 1 semester (6 months), which will perfectly fit my whole current school schedule... which is great .

My questions are:

1)Is there any cheaper university in Guangzhou which offers Chinese language programs for foreigners too?

2)Considering that the new college year always starts in September, do you guys think that it's possible to start at the second part of the semester (around March)?

3)I'll think about question #3 later, I'm sure I have one, but I'm too hungry to think right now

Thank you!!!! whoever reads this :help
